how to install peel and stick tile over linoleum
Laminate no more: There might finally be a solution for renters who want to change up an undesirable floor design. Cult favorite wallpaper brand Chasing Paper is making the leap from their stylish wallpaper designs to a new collection of peel-and-stick floor tiles. These tiles are water-resistant, making them ideal for renovating spaces like your kitchen or even a bathroom. They are also laminated with a top coating to insure durability. They work over a variety of smooth, clean surfaces like ceramic tile, linoleum flooring, or sealed wood.
"When we started looking at new product offerings, we wanted something that would fall in line with our current operations," says co-founder Michael Rees in a press statement. "We used our expertise and knowledge of wall coverings to source the perfect material that would later turn into our newest venture, Peel-and-Stick Floor Tile."
Several of the patterns are based on some of the brand's most popular wallpaper (hello Terrazzo!) while others are new designs. You can find the the peel-and-stick floor tiles in the following options: Arrow in Blue, Mauve, and Grey; Carrera Marble; Farmhouse Tile; Marrakesh in Green and Mauve; Porto; Simple Stripe; Starburst Tile in Black and Turquoise; Terrazzo.
A single stick peel-and-stick tile retails for $10, or you can get an 8-pack of the tiles for $50; the bigger 24" x 48" tiles are $50 each. Shop some of our favorites below or visit Chasing Paper's to shop the whole collection here.
